Acts 8:29-31 (NLT)

29 The Holy Spirit said to Philip, “Go over and walk along beside the carriage.”

30 Philip ran over and heard the man reading from the prophet Isaiah. Philip asked, “Do you understand what you are reading?”

31 The man replied, “How can I, unless someone instructs me?” And he urged Philip to come up into the carriage and sit with him.

Who has God put in your life for your understanding and companionship?

Isn’t it a lovely thing to have a soul mate who shares your likes and dislikes, knows you? It is also nice to have people in our lives who graciously tolerate us!

The truth is, God knows us. He created us! He sends people into our lives to enrich us.

He also sends us out to enrich the lives of others. Be a blessing today. Ask what you can do in service of the King (Jesus). Be righteous in the workplace, and as you move through the day. How can I be a blessing here?! Let us be the hands and feet of Jesus.

An “angel of the Lord” is mentioned prior to the passage above and then the “Holy Spirit” is mentioned within the passage itself. I want to talk about this in the next post.
