Psalm 7:15 (NLT)
15 They dig a deep pit to trap others,
then fall into it themselves.
When we worry about others, we begin leaving our “hula hoop,” and begin excursing where we don’t belong. If I take a hula hoop and take it over my head and place it on the ground around my body, that is about all I truly can change in this world: me.
When we get into other people’s koo-laid, somehow we are offended and surprised when they get into ours. It is like the Golden rule: Do to others as we would like have done unto us. If we live this way, we don’t have to worry about the “boomerang effect,” in which something intended for a target, circles back and whops us up-side the head.
