Galatians 5:19-21New Living Translation (NLT)
19 When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures,20 idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, 21 envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.
Somehow is is so very easy to pass judgement on the sins above punishable by the law.
But holding a grudge, a resentment? This is what destroys us from the inside out. Dissensions and divisions destroy families, churches and nations.
It is easy to sit in church and judge the obvious sins that make it to court. Could it be however that some of the most sinful are the faithful pew sitters who whisper about and do not associate with the “filthy?”
It is time for me to take a personal inventory and see what changes need to be made with me.
