Sometimes I “do and do” for someone and I don’t understand why there is not “adequate” reciprocation. 1 Corinthians 13 speaks of love and maybe sometimes it is important to speak the “love language” of the person we are “ministering” to.
Some people like little gifts. A word of encouragement may not be the “ticket!”
For some, the most important thing is time spent together, for others it is physical touch. In our society, public physical touch is risky.
Lord, help us to be your “hands and feet” in all that we do! Thank you for the opportunities for service. These serving moments heal our minds and souls. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
