Adults in “recovery” frequently claim that one of the greatest regrets of the crisis was the lack of time with their children. The parent(s) was/were so busy attending to the crisis at hand that they felt the children didn’t get the attention that they deserved.
I do believe that the children learn important life skills as they observe the habits of important people in their lives.
Lord, help us truly teach our children through our actions and family prayer that you are in charge and that we trust you to bear our burdens! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
