In Romans, Chapter 15, Paul talks about encouraging one another and “unity,” and it amazes me when he talks about the enthusiasm he has for what he has been allowed to do for Christ.
Paul, in his former life, had aggressively persecuted Christians, even chasing them from city-to-city. The hunter had now become “the hunted,” and he was proud of it! Paul changed, took on suffering, and became an encouragement to me! He used his expert knowledge of Jewish law to illustrate that Jesus Christ was the “salvation” forecasted in prophecy. And he wrote it down!
