Acts 10:34 New Living Translation (NLT)

34 Then Peter replied, “I see very clearly that God shows no favoritism.

One of the main features of Acts 10 is the conversion of a Roman Army officer named Cornelius.  The good news of Jesus Christ is that his sacrifice was for all people, not just for the people of his own community.  Translation:  You and I are loved by Christ regardless of our nationality.  There is enough “pie” to go around for everybody!
Another “favoritism” is that God rains on the just and the unjust….he loves all people and all are welcome in his kingdom.
…….a change of heart, a turning toward him…….  that is what we want today!  I always love the tender way Jesus responded to many who asked for help:  “What can I do for you?”  The profession of our need is music to His ears!
